Introducing the Haan FS-20 Floor Sanitizer Steam Mop Cleaner

As Spring continues to knock on our doors (and then quickly run away) in Virginia, we’ve been noticing an excess of dirt and grime being dragged through our doors into our warehouse. One huge benefit of working in a vacuum warehouse (and there are hundreds of benefits, believe me) is the access to an absurd amount of cleaning materials and equipment.

Luckily, we had just received a new shipment of the Haan FS-20 Steam Mops. Soon enough we had a bunch of the employees taking these awesome Haan Steam mops for a test-run around the warehouse. Never missing an opportunity to give our readers an insight into our company and products, I asked Chris to shoot a video of him using the Haan Floor Sanitizer.

Here’s the result of that film shoot:

Sufficiently impressed with the Haan’s FS-20′s performance, we even featured it in our GoVacuum Monthly Newsletter

Here’s a quick list of features that I gathered from using the mop myself:

Haan Model FS-20 Steam Cleaning Floor Sanitizer

-15 Steam Jets – less cleaning time and easier.
- Heats up in less than 3 minutes to 212 degrees
- Telescoping handle
- Microfiber pad – more absorbent and washable.
- 25 minutes of continuous steam
- No chemicals, just water.
- Short handle to tackle other surfaces (carpets, upholstery, etc).

Years ago, I bought a steam cleaner that was advertised on TV. It had a nozzle and was designed for getting dirt and grime out of the seams in your bathroom tiles and stubborn stuff like that. All I remember is that using that steam wand was scary, because there wasn’t any way to pause the flow and it was pretty easy to pass that scalding steam on yourself.

These Haan series of steam cleaners look fairly safe and have a wide footprint for the steam that keeps the flow on the carpet or the upholstery. But I’m wondering if govacuum is aware of a steam cleaner that is more oriented toward deep cleaning of stains or grime through a wand or nozzle… and if you can find one that’s safe and effective.

Is this vacuum can be used in natural rugs like those that are made in sisal or jute? This product is really interesting.

I like Haan, they’re a pretty cool Korean company. I think all they make is steamers and the Haan HS20 (the fs20′s little brother) and it’s pretty highly reviewed on amazon.e
